Ordered Pad See Ew w/ Chicken. Taste was okay but nothing to rave about. Very small portion and over priced for $16.50 before tip and taxes! I don’t drink soda and just wanted a water cup and dude also charged $4 just for tap water. Dude seemed grumpy also and just greeted asking “order” after I patiently waited 5mins for him to get to me, even as I was the only customer in line. I understand people have bad days, I just wouldn’t recommend this place.

We arrived in Waco around lunchtime, checked into our hotel, and headed over to Union Hall because we couldn't quite decide what we wanted to eat. We actually stopped in front of Curry Up because the name caught our attention, and so did the space itself. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into it. Even the light fixtures have Thai-inspired details, which we loved. While we were looking over the menu, Ning Gar See came over, introduced herself, and walked us through a few dishes. There was a warmth to the place that immediately stood out from the other restaurants inside Union Hall, and we pretty much decided on the spot that this was where we wanted to eat. That turned out to be one of our favorite discoveries of the entire trip. We liked it so much that we came back three times during our two-day stay in Waco. 😂 The Boat Noodle completely won us over. Rich, flavorful, and exactly the kind of bowl that keeps popping back into your head hours later. We've had Boat Noodles in many places before, including Thailand, and this one instantly became a favorite. Over our visits, we also tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, and Pad Kra Pao. Every single dish was excellent.

Absolutely incredible Thai food. This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve had in a long time, especially if you love authentic flavor and real spice. Every dish was packed with flavor from start to finish — not bland, not watered down, but rich, bold, and perfectly balanced. The spice level was exactly how authentic Thai food should be: flavorful heat that enhances the dish instead of overpowering it. You can genuinely taste the freshness in the herbs, chilies, garlic, and sauces. The curry was deep and creamy with layers of flavor, the noodles were perfectly cooked and coated in sauce, and even the rice had incredible aroma and texture. Nothing tasted rushed or generic like a lot of Thai places do. This tasted homemade and authentic in the best way possible. The portions were generous, the food came out hot and fresh, and every bite had so much depth and seasoning. If you enjoy spicy food with real flavor, this place absolutely delivers. You can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing and takes pride in making authentic Thai dishes the right way. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m craving flavorful, spicy Thai food.

I've been knowing about this place for years, but as of recent years I have started eating here. There's not many Thai places in Waco, but I would say that this is one of the best Thai places you'll find in Waco. I've been able to try a few of their dishes, like the Pad Kee Mao, and as of recently, their Pad Thai, which I had with shrimp. Every time I've had food from them I have been very impressed. There are foods that I would have been hesitant to try in the past because of unfamiliarity, but thanks to how they make everything taste, I'm eager to try everything. I really love their shrimp pad Thai. It was the best pad Thai that l've ever had so far! I'm not a huge dessert fan, but they have nice desserts such as the banoffee and fruit sando. If you are a banana pudding lover or a fruity dessert lover, I recommend you try that. They also have great appetizers as well!

My husband got the choose two combo that comes with a curry and a speciality dish. He chose the Pad kra tiem and Panang curry, and loved everything. The curry was a little sweet for his taste but the chicken mellowed it out. He got everything spicy! I tried it as well and it was so yummy (but too spicy for me! Haha)
